It’s time to nurture our child’s creativity again. I like to share another simple idea to make a Christmas greeting card. If you do not want it to be a greeting card, you can use it as decoration around the house. I bet this Christmas is special because your child involves in making the decoration or the greeting cards.
Materials
- glue
- child sized scissors
- silver shinny paper
- A4 green/red cardboard paper
- colorful sequins
Simple way to do it!
Fold the A4 cardboard paper into half. Use a pen to draw the outline of a stocking on the side of the folded cardboard. Let your child cut along the curved line with a scissors. Do supervise him when he is cutting to avoid accident.
Cut the silver shinny paper into a stripe. The stripe is follow the width of the top of the stocking. Again, you may draw two curved lines or straight lines, and ask your child to cut along the lines. Cut a small square from the silver paper. Then draw a curve line on the side and cut accordingly.
Now is time for pasting! Paste the silver stripe on top and the curved shape on the bottom left. Then paste the sequins on the stocking accordingly to decorate it.
This is how our Christmas stocking greeting card looks like! I like it very much and I’m going to send out to my lovely friend. Write some greetings inside the card before sending out! Enjoy the process of making it!
